Local Webster Banker Promoted to Senior Vice President

Webster Bank, a leading regional bank serving businesses and consumers from Westchester County, N.Y. to Boston, Mass., announced today the promotion of Mina Minelli to senior vice president, consumer finance as a result of her significant contributions, demonstrated leadership, and increased responsibilities.                       
Minelli has been with Webster for five years but has more than 20 years in the Financial Services industry.  She manages a team of mortgage originators that support the financial needs of customers in the Greater New Haven area.       
“The Consumer Finance Mortgage team experienced tremendous growth and had a remarkable year in 2012,” said Simon Tahan, senior vice president, director of consumer finance sales.  “Mina delivered against all of our top strategic priorities and provided our customers with an exceptional home lending experience that put Webster Bank on the map with top competitors across the country.  We are proud of her accomplishments and commitment to continued success.” 
Minelli is a resident of New Haven, Conn.  She earned her undergraduate degree in finance and graduate degree in Urban Planning from Southern Connecticut State University.  She is on the Board of Directors of Farnam Neighborhood House.
