Generous community members came out to have some great pizza and help out some needy animals.
As pictured, East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. presents a Certificate of appreciation to John Frisco from Frisco's Pizza on Forbes Avenue in New Haven.
Recently, Frisco held a fundraiser at his restaurant with the proceeds going to the East Haven Animal Shelter's Kennel Fund. In addition to covering all the costs, Mr. Frisco donated proceeds from the sale of pizza to the tune of $2,300.
