Food Truck Roundup - Week 4 (Video)

Noah goes on a culinary road trip in Part 4 of the food truck series.

Noah is back again, this week leaving New Haven and going on a roadtrip across Connecticut to find some of the best food trucks in the state.

First up is Got Chef, a gourmet Italian truck run by Chef Biagio, of Biagio's Osteria fame. Swing by the Milford Train Station, or order online, for some fresh Italian food from a truck.

Next we go to Boudan Barbeque in Milford, a great new BBQ spot, before heading to the Orange Volunteer Firefighters Festival to check out Firedogs.

Run by volunteer firefighter Russ Arpaia, Firedogs offers unique takes on traditional hotdogs all with fresh ingridiants. Firedogs is also one of the only trucks in the state to be entered in Food Network's "Great Food Truck Race" contest. Go to the Food Network's site to vote for Firedogs, and if he wins, Russ might end up on the popular cable competition show.

You need to check out Courtney's Lunchbox on Rt 68 and Northrup Road across from Marriott in Wallingford. The best steamed cheeseburgers and footlong Hummells chili dogs ever! He's there from 11-1:15 M-F weather permitting.

I had family visit from out of town to attend a Little League game down by the beach. They justRead More loved the entire area, especially the splash pad and the Sandpiper. It made me stop, look around and appreciate how fortunate we are in East Haven to have such a great place for so many activities.

I'm disappointed with the new format. Doesn't seem to be very user friendly.
