Good news for shoreline residents who like to shop farm fresh — and local.
In response to its popularity this season, as well as requests from vendors, the East Haven Farmer’s Market has been extended an additional week through to this Sunday, Oct. 14.
Local Farms Head Market
The market will once again set up shop in the parking lot of the East Haven Town Hall, 250 Main Street, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This year's market is managed by family farmers Chris Vaiuso of Vaiuso Farms in Branford and Carolyn Bradley of Borelli Farm in Northford.
Connecticut Grown
The East Haven Farmer’s Market organizers say they are committed to selling only Connecticut-grown farm products and/or Connecticut-made products.
Additionally, vendors are required to produce a traceable point of origin within Connecticut (receipt) if the product being sold was not produced by the vendor.
