Meet the Author of A Bipolar's Song, Paula Sievers

Bipolar is not an easy road. Within the pages of A Bipolar's Song, Paula Sievers tells her story of suffering forty years with this debilitating roller coaster of mania and depression. She discusses her relationship with family, friends and the public at large, hoping to dispel the stigma against the mentally ill. It took years for her illness to be diagnosed and many more for her to be treated properly.

Paula's book is interspersed with prose and poetry that not only gives the reader a glimpse into the mind of someone with Bipolar disease, but is inspirational and shows the courage and perseverance of one woman's journey into remission.

Paula will read from her book and have a Q & A session following her talk. Copies of A Bipolar's Song will be available for sale.
