Meet the Author: Don Harrison

Sports writer Don Harrison spent much of his youth in East Haven and his new book Hoops in Connecticut features two influential coaches in his life from the old East Haven High School on Tyler Street.

As a sportswriter, Don Harrison was passionate about college basketball, baseball and Yale football--often in that sequence. And so he is pleased to present this collection of his works, and some new material, that provide valuable insight into the state of Connecticut's myriad contributions to the game of basketball, from the rarefied heights of the NBA and UConn to the high schools and playgrounds.
