HOC Presents Puccini's La Boheme

Hillhouse Opera Company of New Haven, CT will be presenting its production of Puccini’s La Boheme on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the High Lane Club, 40 High Lane, North Haven, CT 06473.

While modern audiences deal with the consequences of a poor economy, characters in La Boheme struggle to experience love and beauty in the midst of a similar poor economy and harsh circumstances, including beautiful, yet damaging winter weather. With an opening scene on Christmas Eve in Paris, La Boheme is a wonderful, romantic opera great for families or special loved ones. Modern audiences are bound to relate to and find hope in La Boheme. Come experience this passionate and engaging opera that never loses its appeal.

The classic holiday production will feature conductor and music director Perry Price, as well as sopranos Christina Holms and Christina DiMuro, tenor Daniel Juarez, baritones Michael Trnik and Jerry Holmes, and bass baritone Joshua Laura.
