Is this cupola atop the refurbished plaza that housed Friendly's on Frontage Road.....

Cupola.. thank you, Beth. Can you be more specific as to what building it is attached to?
Will May 03, 2011 at 05:15 PM
This cupola is located at Holiday Inn Express on Frontage Road. While the property abuts the newly remodeled plaza with Work 'N Gear, Sally Beauty Supply, and others, the cupola was not part of the renovations.

I don't think we have a Holiday Inn Express--isn't it a Quality Inn?? I guessed the wrong complex--but you are right !
Will May 03, 2011 at 05:35 PM
You're right, Beth! There was once a Holiday Inn Express on these grounds, prior to the acquisition of the property by Choice Hotels International, the parent company of Quality Inn from the property's previous owner, InterContinental Hotels Group.

The cupola is on the Quality Inn - at one time that was Hostways Motel and had a huge blue pyramid shaped structure alongside it that could be seen from my friend's deck on Hillside Ave. in New Haven. Her deck was high up as the hill is steep.

It's the Cupola on the roof of Mayor Aprils house. High on the hill in the north end of town. I heard she got a GREAT deal on that property.
