Thanksgiving Week: Town of East Haven Holiday Schedule
Is East Haven Town Hall open on Friday? Will your trash pick up be delayed? What is the town landfill's schedule?
The start of the holiday season is here, with Thanksgiving arriving this Thursday.
In addition to turkey legs and pumpkin pies, the holiday also means changes to the town's schedule and services.

Town Hall Hours
All offices of the Town of East Haven will be closed Thursday and Friday Nov. 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Trash Pickups
In addition, the town's residential trash pickups will not occur on Thanksgiving Day.
The remainder of the pickups for that week will be delayed one day.
Town Landfill
The East Haven Landfill on Commerce Street will be closed on Friday Nov. 29. But will be open on Saturday, Nov. 30th from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
During the months of December, January and February the landfill will be open for residents on the following Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.:
- Saturday, Dec. 21
- Saturday, Jan. 18
- Saturday, Feb. 15
The landfill will continue to be open for residents on every Friday, also from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
