All Aboard: Ride With the Easter Bunny!

The Shore Line Trolley Museum is getting itself ready for the Easter Bunny's visit to East Haven, when the holiday rabbit will be ready to ride the rails with boys and girls starting this Saturday.

They are readying the rails and corralling the cars in preparation for special visitor to East Haven this Easter holiday.

The Easter bunny will be riding the rails at the starting this Saturday and Sunday.

The holiday fun will continue the following holiday weekend when the Easter Bunny returns to the museum on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7.

All Aboard!

The first trolley leaves Sprague station at 10:30 a.m., and then every 45 minutes until 4:30 p.m.

Included in admission is a ride with the Easter Bunny, a gift from the holiday rabbit, taking part in a fun spring craft and train tables for the children to play at while in Sprague Station.

And museum officials said boys and girls are welcome to ride as many times as they would like.

Don’t forget to bring your camera and take as many photos as you want, museum officials encouraged riders.

Mueum exhibits will also be open as well as the theater and the gift shop. And there is plenty of free parking in the museum's parking lot.

Admission rates are as follows:

  • Adults - $10
  • Seniors (62 and up) - $9
  • Children (3-15) - $6
