Parents of "Biggins" Regretfully Need to Find Her a New Home

Due to their baby's allergic reaction to this "loveable" American Bulldog, an East Haven family is heartbroken that they must find a new home for their pet. Can you help and spread the word?

The Peryer family of East Haven is heartbroken. They contacted Patch asking our help to find a loving, forever home for their dog, Biggins.

Due to their infant's allergies to the dog, they must find Biggins a new home.

"It breaks my heart to have to give her up," said Joe Peryer.

Biggins is a female American Bulldog.  Here's how her family describers her:  "We rescued Biggins just over two years ago and her age was guessed at that point to be five. She is great with babies, kids, and adults. She is okay with dogs when away from the house but she is very protective of her home. Cats do not like her and she does not like them. She's a big loveable dog and wants to be a lap dog. She's low maintenance and in good health. She's up to date on her rabies and temperament until 2015, copies would be provided."

"I love this dog and she is the ideal dog for anyone," said Peryer. "She is house broken and eats two cups in the morning and two at night and then is walked after each meal."

Anyone interested, please contact Joe Peryer at joseph_peryer@yahoo.com or call him at 203-258-2890. Those interested can arrange to meet the dog at the Peryer's home.

"This is no pound dog so I hope someone can take her and give her a continued good life," said Peryer.
