East Haven Students and Police Officers Have a Bowling Party
It was a last day of school celebration in East Haven.
There was a last day of school bowling celebration on Monday, June 23 at Circle Lanes bowling alley in East Haven where bowling was free to all the K through 8th grade kids in East Haven public schools.
Bowling GM Gary Smith held the event (3rd annual) and had the East Haven Rec Dept. and East Haven D.A.R.E. as the sponsors.
East Haven Police Officer Dave Torello had Daren the D.A.R.E. Lion there walking around with him to greet the kids and for photos.
He also handed out D.A.R.E. stickers to any child who wanted a couple. There were about 200 guests (kids and parents...but mostly kids) in attendance and everyone had a great time.
