East Haven Residents Demand Answers on Cosey Beach Parking Woes

Side streets are often clogged with out-of-towners.

Cosey Beach area residents are demanding action over side streets leading to the beach being filled with out-of-towners, the New Haven Register reports. 

A public forum was held on the parking woes at Cosey Beach Thursday night and about 30 residents attended, Evan Lips reports. 

According to Evan, Cosey Beach is one of the only beaches on the shoreline that doesn’t charge for out-of-town parking or require a proof of residency.

Police Department officials were present, but the solutions are not easy to come up with, the Register reports.
