Earlier this week it appeared that much of this weekend's was threatened to be washed out due to a wet weathery forecast.
But it appears that Mother Nature must be a fan of the town's biggest annual event.
Because, according to the latest report from the National Weather Service, it appears that the sun will indeed be out and about shining down on the for most of this weekend.
Mostly Sunny Weekend
Tonight looks to be just perfect for the festival's kickoff, with no threat of rain and early evening temps in the low 70s.
For Saturday, there is a slight chance for rain, but the majority of the day looks to be fair with partly sunny skies.
Sunday, however, just might end up being the jewel of the festival weather wise, with an almost perfect mostly sunny day and temps in the mid to high 70s.

Saturday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 3am, then a chance of showers. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 64.
