Community Dinner: 'A Gathering To Break Bread'

East Haven Democratic Town Committee will host a pasta dinner next week, which will allow residents — both immigrant and non-immigrant alike — to simply meet and greet one another as neighbors, organizers say.

East Haven Democratic Town Committee will hold "A Gathering To Break Bread" this Tuesday, March 13, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Senior Center.

The pasta dinner, which is free and open to all, hopes to provide an opportunity for all the town's residents — both immigrant and non-immigrant alike — to simply meet and greet one another as neighbors, according DTC Chairman .

In addition, Ruoco said the event will also provide the opportunity for residents to begin an informal dialogue with one another, allowing all groups within East Haven's community to share their experiences and perhaps come to a better understanding together.
