Rep. Rosa DeLauro To Host Meeting on Medicare Advantage

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro will meet with constituents this Friday, April 11 at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the new protections announced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Monday. The protections will help Medicare Advantage participants whose providers significantly change their networks. Approximately 32,000 Connecticut Medicare Advantage participants were impacted by a decision by United Healthcare to drop about 2,200 doctors from its Medicare Advantage network last year. The meeting will be held at the Hamden Government Center 3rd Floor Conference Room, Hamden Government Center 2750 Dixwell Avenue 3rd Floor Conference Room.
