Momauguin Elementary School in lockdown.

Yesterday afternoon, Momauguin School was put in lockdown due to a robbery/drug deal gone bad. The incident happened on Cosey Beach Avenue, and while it was precautionary to go into lockdown, parents were never notified. Luckily, my daughter left early with her grandfather after a holiday concert, but her classmates were hidden in closets. 
I would like to know why a Connect-Ed call was not sent out to the parents, so number one, we would be notified of the safety of the children and number two, so parents could prepare themselves to sit down with their children and discuss what happened.
Superintent Bonner should expect many calls today.
