LIFE'S A TRIP!

LIFE'S A TRIP in association with Miller Senior Center (trips formerly run by Marion Lyons of Blue Horizon) is offering the following trips:

  • April 17, 2014- Newport Dinner Train, selected by Food Network as one of the top 3 dinner trains in America.  All aboard a luxury train for a 2 hour journey along Narragansett Bay.  Sightseeing attractions include: the Naval Base & aircraft  carriers Forrestal Saratoga, Prudence Island in Portsmouth and many ships under sail.  Menu: Fresh garden salad, Chicken Forrestierre or BBQ 1/2 rack of  baby back ribs or stuffed filet of sole with scallops and crabmeat, rolls & butter, dessert, coffee or tea.  Free time at Bannister's and Bowen Wharves.  Cost -  $92 per person. Depart Miller Library at 8:15AM, estimated return 6:30PM.  Final payment due March 17, 2014.
  • May 28, 2014 - "Who Loves You" a musical tribute to Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons and beyond at Aqua Turf Club.  The show consists of five young, hot Broadway veterans recreating the music and stories of the era.  Family style menu: garden salad, pasta, chicken Francaise, salmon with dill sauce, vegetable, potato, rolls, dessert, beverage.  Cost $70 per person.  Drive on your own.  Doors open at 11:30 AM.  Final payment is due April 28, 2014.
  • June 27 - July 5, 2014 - Montreal Overnight & Canada/New England Cruise - 1 night in Montreal & 7 night cruise with stops in Prince Edward Island, Sydney, Halifax, Bar Harbor and Boston.  Motorcoach to Montreal, overnight accommodations, welcome dinner in Montreal and a 3 hour city tour, 7 night cruise aboard the Maasdam, daily activities, nightly entertainment, casino.  Cost - from $1699/per person.  A deposit of $600 is due with reservation, final payment due April 1, 2014.
