Cooking for CASA

Hello!
On May 7, Children in Placement is holding our annual fundraising event, Cooking for CASA, in Branford. The event used to be held in New Haven, but we have grown so much in size that we had to switch to a larger venue. The event is being held at the beautiful WoodWinds. Tickets are $80 per person and $150 per couple in advance, and $85 at the door. Tickets can be purchased on our website at the end of this month. We hope that you save the date!
About our event:
Cooking for CASA is Children in Placement's premiere fundraising event featuring wine, jazz, and exquisite foods from more than a dozen of the area's best eateries. The event has grown so much over the past 13 years that we had to move to a larger venue! The food, wine, and restaurant staff's time is all donated and costs are mininmal. As much as 90% of every dollar raised with this event goes to child advocacy and empowerment. This fundraising effort will help provide the monies we need to serve hundreds of children each year.
About us:
The goal of Children in Placement, a statewide child advocacy and youth empowerment program, is to see every child in a safe and permanent home, preparing for life outside of the state system. Children in Placement (CIP) is the Connecticut affiliate of the National CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
