The Old Stone Church Playschool in East Haven recently celebrated the first day of spring by holding a May Pole event on the side lawn of Old Stone Church. The children walked and skipped (to music) around a tall May Pole holding long brightly colored ribbons which twisted around and around the pole until it was completely covered. The children then presented their parents or other family member with a hand-made May basket. This is an annual favorite at the Playschool – and a fun way to welcome spring!

3:30 in the afternoon on a road with lots of traffic and I will bet people did witness this accident…Read More but due to the "don't get involved" attitude these days, no one will call. Just so sad!
