We would like to stuff 100 stockings to hand out to families in need here in CT & NY who were effected by Sandy who will be in need of hope and holiday spirit this year! Please see the list of suggestions below.
Stockings, gift bags, crayons, coloring books, stickers, socks, gloves, candies, nuts, gum, fruit snacks, glow necklaces/bracelets, Chapstick, hand lotion, body spray, small toys, Playdough, bubbles, DVD’s, sidewalk chalk, Squinkies,travel games, UNO, Go Fish, toothbrush, toothpaste, nail polish, files, clippers, tissues/band aids, disposable cameras, gift cards ($5 Dunkin Donuts, Movies) Basically… any small, appropriate items that will fit into a stocking. Use your imagination and get creative!!! Toys can be dropped off at the East Haven Fire Headquarters on Main St for their Annual Toys for Tots Event!
