East Haven Freshman Football Team Wins over Jonathan Law of Milford 22 to 6!

The East Haven High School Freshman Football Team beat Jonathan Law of Milford this past Thursday, October 11th on home turf by 22 to 6, bringing their record to 3 & 2.

Austin Thornberg scored all 3 TD's for the Easties and Noah Fiorillo added two 2 point conversions. The EH Offensive Line, led by Center Nick Defaranos, is credited with gaining over 150 yeards total offense. QB Trevor Angelo had 40 yards rushing.

Outstanding play on defense was put in by AJ Boothiller and Garrett Pates. The entire defense stopped Law on a two point conversion that would have tied the game at 6/6 in the third quarter. The defense had an interception and two fumble recovers in the second half.  The Easties offense then took over and controled the ball, scoring twice more.

Josh DeJesus, Noah Parlato and Cody Borchert all turned in outstanding efforts to seal the victory for East Haven.

The Yellow Jackets have a bye this week, and will play the Sheehan Freshman on Thursday, October 25th at 4:30 p.m. at EHHS.

Schedule Change: The East Haven Freshman will play Wilbur Cross on Monday November 12th at 6 p.m.@ EHHS.
