Achieve Athletics: New Athletic Brand Targeting Young Athletes

BRANFORD – Be leader, not a follower. Work your mind as much as your body. Performance on and off the field.

Those are the three fundamental elements of Achieve Athletics, a new athletic brand based out of Branford, CT.

Achieve Athletics stresses the importance of performing both on and off the field to all high school athletes across America. The company has been targeting high-achieving high school athletes in the area and elevating them as iconic student-athletes. They call these athletes influencers and the company plans on expanding their influence across the nation.

Achieve Athletics runs an annual scholarship program offered to every high school in America. The Scholarship Award is presented annually to one male and one female student-athlete who embody the brand message. Michael Vessicchio of East Haven High School was nominated in the Winter of 2012. He was the captain of the varsity basketball team and was also a National Honor Society student and received the New Haven Gridiron Club Scholar-Athlete Award for football this year. Other nominees from East Haven High School include Crystal Mansi, Tim Dessureau, and Amariah Lem. You can view all of the 2012 scholarship nominees by clicking here.

Achieve Athletics offers a diverse line of men’s, women’s, and youth athletic product on their website. You can purchase retail items directly from their e-commerce store on achieveathletics.com.

In addition, the company also offers custom-made high school team product. Achieve Athletics has a Team Network, where coaches, booster clubs, and team representatives can order custom-made athletic apparel for their teams.

Achieve Athletics also works with charities and has done work with the American Heart Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. They offer charity t-shirts for sale on their website, with a portion of the proceeds going back to each respective charity.

“We’re very excited that our brand is starting to resonate with local high schools,” said Achieve Athletics CEO Tom White. “We look forward to expanding our reach and elevating exceptional student-athletes who achieve on and off the field.”
