Twelve young students from Bridgeport, Orange, North Haven and other surrounding towns are enjoying the learning and riding experiences at Animal Assisted Therapy's Horse Trails to Learning summer program. Four groups of students rotate between literacy, equine science, horsemanship classes and a riding lesson each day. Each day the students in 3-person teams, are given an equine related problem to resolve. If chosen by one of our judges for the best answer to the problem, our judges Chris Patella, Paula Deutz, Melissa Liptak or Kim Nemchek will award a small prize. AaTs still has one or two openings for the next 2-week session beginning on July 29nd. If interested, please call Chris at 203-804-5343. www.animalassistedtherapyservices.org
