Foreclosure Clinic

There is a foreclosure clinic scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room of Hagaman Memorial Library.

Changes to Flood Maps & Insurance

Representatives from FEMA and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) will visit Branford to discuss changes to the flood maps. The meeting begins at 5 p.m., and will take place at the Fire House, 45 North Main St.

"The meeting will allow residents to view the new maps, understand the changes that are taking place to flood insurance rates, and learn more about financial steps that they may need to take to protect their investment," according to an event description on the town's website.

Town Meetings

There are four town meetings scheduled for Tuesday night, all at 7 p.m.

  • The Board of Education is meeting at East Haven High School
  • Counseling and Community Services has a meeting at the Counseling Center, 595 Thompson Ave.
  • The Police Commission meeting is in the Senior Center, 91 Taylor Ave.
  • The Urban Renewal Agency is meeting in the Mario Giaimo Room of Town Hall
